Tingklik is a traditional Balinese musical instrument crafted from bamboo, characterized by its blade-like structure. The instrument is played by striking the bamboo blades with a paddle known as the tingklik pelvis. The Tingklik Gamelan comprises two distinct instruments: Tingklik Polos and Tingklik Sangsih.

A single tingklik typically features between eleven to twenty-five bamboo blades, with the exact number determined by the specific type of scale employed. Performance on the tingklik involves the use of both hands; the right hand executes the kotekan (melody), while the left hand maintains the rhythmic foundation, referred to as bun. In some instances, the right hand may also serve as sangsih, while the left hand plays a more straightforward accompaniment.
